Adelaide Metrics measures attention in advertising, giving marketers a signal beyond viewability. The business sits between a buy side and a sell side, which means a small legal team handling a lot of contract variety. Before there was a dedicated lawyer in the seat, the company needed a way to keep contracts in order and get answers out of them.
When Megha Wadhwani joined as Associate General Counsel, she inherited that setup and started managing it. She came in with a clear point of comparison, having worked with several contract systems across her career, and a specific problem to solve: knowing what was actually in the company's agreements.
"What I understand is that they weren't sure if they were going to hire a lawyer or not, and they were like, ' If we don't hire a lawyer, we need something to help us. And obviously the AI capabilities are strong." — Megha Wadhwani, Associate General Counsel, Adelaide Metrics
Megha made reporting the backbone of how legal uses Aline. Instead of opening contracts one at a time, she runs reports across the whole book to answer the questions that matter to an ad-measurement company, starting with what it can and cannot do with data.
"Something as simple as, here's all our NDAs that are expiring, to here's the contracts where I can't use the data to train my models. For me, the data-use one was the biggest one."
— Megha Wadhwani
That same reporting layer surfaces the obligations legal has to stay on top of, like breach and notification requirements. "We can directly see breach of contract, or notification if we need to notify something," Megha said. "What did we agree to in terms of server notification requirements for certain businesses?"
She also uses the Slack integration to get answers without leaving her workflow, and the same self-service reaches the sales team.
"I actually really like the Slack integration because I can just ask a question like, ' Hey, do I have an NDA for this? Our sellers are finding the NDA reports really helpful, so they don't have to come to me and ask, " Do we have an NDA for this, and is it still valid? It makes their lives easier." — Megha Wadhwani
The clearest result is fewer interruptions for legal and faster answers for the business. Sellers check the NDA reports themselves rather than routing every question through Megha, and legal can pull an answer about data rights or notification obligations across the entire contract set in one place.
The next layer is the HubSpot integration, which pulls deal data straight onto Adelaide's insertion order forms so sales are not entering it by hand.
"The HubSpot integration, where it pulls the data directly onto our IO form, is very useful. When it's fully there, it's going to make everyone's lives infinitely easier."
— Megha Wadhwani
What gives the story its weight is that it comes from someone who has used several of these platforms and does not hand out endorsements lightly.
"I've worked with a few. I would recommend this one over the other ones. The capabilities, the reporting features, pulling data directly from HubSpot onto our IOs, having that review feature where someone looks at an agreement before it sends out. And your team is really good. Amazing, and helpful, and patient."

"It's a pragmatic tool that will drive efficiencies and make your life easier." — Megha Wadhwani
